eBay is running a 10-cent auction listing promotion for sellers from October 29 through November 1st. Sellers can list for 10 cents regardless of the auction’s starting price. The promotion applies to both eBay Stores
subscribers and sellers who do not have an eBay Store subscription.
Unlike the last promotion, sellers who do not have an eBay Store subscription are still eligible for 100 free Insertion Fees per month, now through January 7. After the 100 free monthly listings have been used, eligible Auction-style listings will receive the 10¢ promotional rate per item listed as mentioned above.
eBay Announces Improved Vacation Hold Feature
Do you plan to take some time off during or after the holidays? If so, be sure to check out the updated Vacation Hold feature, available to all eBay Stores subscribers.
Previously, Vacation Hold kept Fixed Price listings from showing up in search results. With the updated Vacation Hold, your Fixed Price listings will be both hidden in search results and unavailable for purchase, so buyers who added your item to their watch list prior to it going on hold won’t be able to purchase it while you’re away. This keeps buyers from having a bad experience, and helps protect you from negative feedback and low detailed seller ratings.
To access the eBay Stores Vacation Feature, go to My eBay > Manage My Store > Store Vacation Settings. Learn more about putting your listings on vacation. For more on what eBay Stores have to offer, click here.
